Two new members have been appointed to the Supervisory Board of Meraxis AG on May 10, 2022: With Bettina Charrière and Gert-Jan van den Akker, two experienced leaders strengthen the globally operating polymer distributor.

A "plastics tax" awaits plastics processors in many countries. The tax is intended to encourage companies to use fewer prime materials. Meraxis advises its customers to switch to sustainable material alternatives. In this way, they can save taxes and reduce their own carbon footprint at the same time.

As a one-stop shop, Meraxis supplies its customers not only with raw materials, but also with machinery and tools. This means that even medium-sized companies can procure their investment goods globally through Meraxis. How exactly does this work? Our investment goods team procured three customised injection molding tools for the plastics technology and mold making specialist "Krumpholz Kunststofftechnik GmbH", located in Kronach, Germany.

The REHAU Group has decided to suspend their operations in Russia and Belarus until further notice. Meraxis itself is not present in the countries mentioned. However, we have decided to follow this decision and suspend our relations with Russian partners as well.

The Swiss trading group Meraxis has further expanded its digital customer portal for the procurement of prime and recycled materials: Effective immediately, customers can send material requests and place and manage their orders directly in the "Meraxis Customer Portal".
