Meraxis Services GmbH and REHAU Industries, along with three other partners, have received funding for their ‘CO2ptiMat’ project from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The aim of CO2ptiMat is to develop a digital solution that allows plastics processing companies to determine and optimize the actual carbon footprint of their own production.

With RC Plast, Meraxis has found another strong partner for recycled materials: With immediate effect, we will begin distributing selected high-quality regranulates from the Danish manufacturer in Europe. The portfolio includes unfilled polypropylene (R-PP) made from recycled fibers for technical applications.

The Swiss polymer distributor Meraxis has successfully completed its acquisition of the French Fournier Polymers group. In the run-up to the closing in Madrid, the responsible authorities had issued all the necessary approvals and clearance following an antitrust review. The corresponding purchase agreement had been signed in September 2022.

Swiss trading group Meraxis and Rialti, a European producer of polypropylene compounds, have entered into a strategic partnership. Meraxis will market Rialti's high-quality compounds and recompounds in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Together, the two companies will also aim to further advance the development and production of customer-specific recompounds.

Distribution companies Meraxis and ClickPlastics have entered a cooperation for digital distribution. From now on, ClickPlastics polymers are also available on Meraxis’ online customer portal, according to the Swiss company.

Swiss plastics trading group Meraxis has announced the takeover of Fournier Plastics Group. Financial details were not disclosed. The transaction is scheduled to close at the end of 2022, and MD Bruno Fournier is to continue to manage the day-to-day business of the company that bears his name.
