"Meraxis meets your needs - going beyond expectations"
The world of polymers is faced with great changes – we want to play a part in them. As a one-stop shop, we combine traditional Swiss quality with new digital approaches and the aspiration of driving the circular economy forward. Our aim is to surpass your expectations with an expansive product portfolio and tailor-made services. If you want, we will find not only the appropriate material or tool but also the right distribution, logistics or financing solution. All in all, we strive for more sustainability and a functioning circular economy. Plastics are extraordinarily versatile materials and their correct use is crucial for our future. We want to foster more appreciation – for polymers and for those who work with them.
Meraxis is a young family-owned business – grounded on decades of experience. In 2019, the Swiss companies MB Barter & Trading and REHAU GmbH merged to become one of the leading suppliers of polymer solutions in the market. The Meraxis team combined their competencies in distribution, material and application expertise to make this happen.

Where does the name Meraxis come from?
Meraxis is made up of the word components “mer” and “axis”. Meros (ancient Greek: part) means that we are part of the global polymer market which we are working to shape dynamically through our expertise. Axis signifies the joining together of two traditional businesses to form an even stronger unit.
