Fournier Polymers and F2M joined our company in 2023, complementing our portfolio and global presence. As part of the REHAU Group, Meraxis can look back on more than 60 years of industry experience.

Where we come from

History

The Meraxis Group is a leading global distributor of polymers and polymer-related products and services. We serve companies in a wide range of industries, from automotive to construction and packaging. Our team combines extensive knowledge of distribution, materials, and applications.

Our roots lie in REHAU GmbH and MB Barter & Trading. Since 2019, we have been operating as an independent subgroup of the REHAU Group. To optimally serve our customers, we acquired Fournier Polymers in 2023.

Executive Board

Dr. Stefan Girschik

Chief Executive Officer - CEO

CEO Dr. Stefan Girschik has been working in the polymer industry in international management positions for more than 30 years. The chemical engineer with a PhD in economy has held management board positions for more than 20 years and, as a member of several supervisory boards, has gained insights into key areas such as procurement, innovation or digitalization in various industries.

Emmanuel Tarret

Chief Operating Officer - COO

More than 25 years of experience in the energy, chemical and commodity business make Emmanuel Tarret a proven specialist in the industry. Before Meraxis, he gained many years of management experience in supply chain management and also held various management positions in the specialty compounds sector for a long time.

Sarah Maier

Chief Transformation Officer - CTO

Sarah Maier is an expert for strategy and transformation processes and has been working for the group for more than 10 years. During her career, she has gained extensive management experience in various divisions and has played a key role in shaping Meraxis' strategy and corporate development.

Ulrich Litterscheid

Chief Financial Officer - CFO

Ulrich Litterscheid has been working in the finance sector of international trading companies with a focus on commodity markets for almost 30 years. Even before joining Meraxis, he had held positions in corporate management and also on supervisory boards worldwide for many years and is an expert in international trading, corporate restructurings and mergers and transformation processes.

Supervisory Board

Our Supervisory Board consists of the internationally active family entrepreneur Jobst Wagner (President, middle), Dr. Hanns-Peter Ohl with his relevant executive experience in machinery and equipment manufacturing and Bettina Charrière, who brings longstanding experience in the energy sector.
