“When we receive recycled material from our suppliers for the first time, we check it in detail“, says von Dorn. “We thereby gain precise data on each material and can accurately assess quality, properties, and suitability for specific applications.” This not only provides our customers with accurate information on the materials they use, but also with certainty and confidence in the material characteristics due to the significant experience of our R&D team. Depending on the application, for example, mechanics, fluidity, color, and recycled content can be adapted to customer needs. “Especially, when manufacturing more complex plastic applications, for example, automotive components and electrical equipment, it is crucial that all the necessary parameters are precisely matched”, adds von Dorn. In addition to our own research capacities, we also work together with partner laboratories and continuously exchange information about the state of the art of the recycling business.
