IANUS Simulation creates precise flow simulations based on digital twins of production plants. With the help of 3D models and artificial intelligence, extrusion processes can be digitally represented and analyzed. The simulations reveal which possibilities exist, for example, to increase throughput, achieve higher product quality, save energy, or use material more efficiently.
SHS plus accompanies the entire production chain, from material feed to packaging. The main focus is on downstream extrusion and the cooling process. The company relies not only on innovative analysis software but also on on-site visits to customers. In this way, problems can be identified and solved in close exchange, for example, in the case of excessive wear. In addition, optimization potentials are developed and implemented.
IANUS and SHS plus originated as two independent spin-offs of Technical University Dortmund and account for approximately twenty years of practical experience. As long-term partners themselves, both companies have already successfully completed numerous joint projects.
