Precise material data is crucial for the plastics processing industry – especially for recycled materials. This is because, unlike new materials, the composition of recycled materials naturally varies as the materials come from different sources. As a result, different batches from the same recycling company may vary depending on the source material or the processing procedure.

The «Recycling Hub» is the digital tool for exchanging data between suppliers and Meraxis as a distributor of their material. We use the «Recycling Hub» to record and track material properties, such as the material flow index or density as well as the quality of our recycled materials on a batch-specific basis. We carry out our own quality tests to supplement the recycling company's material tests. We can thereby offer our customers quality that is precisely tailored to their application for every delivery.

The «Recycling Hub» makes it easier for everyone involved to check the quality of the material.
