ISCC PLUS: sustainable supply chain with verification
We have been certified as an ISCC PLUS Paper Trader since December 2024. ISCC stands for «International Sustainability & Carbon Certification». This globally recognized certification ensures that sustainable raw materials – such as recycled or bio-based materials – are produced responsibly and are fully traceable. Meraxis works with ISCC PLUS-certified suppliers. All products certified by us as ISCC PLUS therefore come from verified, sustainable sources. This gives our customers assurance: they receive raw materials that meet the highest sustainability standards and fulfill strict environmental, social and governance criteria.
RecyClass: transparency and quality of recyclates
With this certification, we are setting another example for sustainable polymer cycles: RecyClass stands for more than just the recyclability of a product. RecyClass is a comprehensive, technical and cross-industry initiative founded by Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE). The certification confirms the complete traceability of RecyClass products along the entire supply chain based on strict sustainability criteria. As it is not directly measurable from the granulate whether the polymers have been recycled, the RecyClass certificate creates transparency through independent audits and detailed documentation, both for us and for our participating suppliers. With this certification, we meet the highest requirements and offer our customers even more security in the procurement of sustainable polymers.
