Meraxis is a full-service provider for plastics converters: The product portfolio of the company and its subsidiary Fournier Polymers, which will also be represented at the trade fair stand, includes both prime and recycled polymers, masterbatches, and engineering plastics, known as ETPs. Meraxis also offers services for procurement, logistics, and technical consulting. If requested, the company even develops customized compounds thanks to its own development department. This includes support in switching to recycled materials or increasing the proportion of recycled content in various applications. As an industry partner, Meraxis is driving the digitalization of the entire value chain—from material selection and procurement to logistics. With digital tools, consulting, and a portfolio of recycled materials and bioplastics, the company also supports processors in achieving their sustainability goals and creating greater efficiency in the supply chain.
Customer portal as a digital control center
Meraxis is continuously expanding the functions of its digital customer portal. It bundles all order and delivery information in one central location. Users can place inquiries and orders, view delivery times, and access relevant documents such as contracts, invoices, or technical data. The portal also displays the carbon footprint of materials and transport and automatically generates a comprehensive PDF report. If necessary, it suggests lower-carbon recycled alternatives. By making sustainability factors visible to processors, they can improve them in a targeted manner.
The “Track & Trace” function allows deliveries to be tracked in real time. This enables more accurate planning of unloading and delivery times and helps to avoid bottlenecks or excess stock and reduce storage costs. By making the supply chain digital and thus transparent and traceable, deviations can be responded to and counteracted at an early stage.
Polymerize: Accelerated material development
Meraxis has been cooperating with the AI start-up Polymerize for around a year. Polymerize's materials informatics platform evaluates test and production data and identifies correlations between formulations and properties. Even a small amount of data from experiments is sufficient: the software suggests specific formulations and process parameters and predicts the technical properties of the end product. This shortens development times, reduces testing efforts, and brings more sustainable products to market faster. At K 2025, the Polymerize team will demonstrate its solution live at the Meraxis booth.
In addition to digital solutions, Meraxis will also be providing information at the K trade fair about its wide range of polymers, recyclates, biopolymers, additives, and customized compounds, as well as capital goods, technical consulting, and global logistics services.
Meraxis will be exhibiting at the K-Messe 2025 trade fair from October 8 to 15 in Hall 6, Booth E27.
