Whether it’s automotive, packaging or construction - our customers come from different industries - which means they need different solutions. Even so, some product groups have emerged in the survey around our range of capital goods that are particularly in demand. These mainly include injection molding tools, as well as load carriers and circulation packaging. As a one-stop shop, we already serve these specific demands today and we’re constantly expanding our portfolio to include further manufacturing processes and applications.
This makes Meraxis the central supplier and contact partner for its customers, and one that can cover all their needs - from the required primeware and recyclates to customized solutions that customers need for manufacturing, measuring and transporting their products. This concept of a one-stop shop with its modular principle was named in our customer survey as one of the decisive added values of Meraxis. Other decisive factors in the procurement of capital goods via Meraxis are advantages like volume bundling and our global presence in the local procurement markets, especially in China, and also in Europe. Customers also appreciate the simplified enquiry process: Meraxis contacts several suppliers for them, then compares them and selects the optimal solution together with the customer. This provides smaller and medium-sized companies in particular with a highly professional purchasing structure.
The survey results confirmed that we’re already well aware of our customers’ challenges and actively address them: Almost all respondents consider the quick availability and delivery time of tools, equipment and load carriers to be fundamental, as are the overall cost considerations. Almost 90 percent also mentioned services, service and advice as important to very important. That’s why, alongside services that we already offer, such as sampling, transport handling and procurement market research, we’re already working on expanding our service portfolio.
