This year, our presence at the trade fair was all about our digital solutions. We use them to increase efficiency in the value chain and promote a sustainable polymer industry. Many visitors took the opportunity to find out about the new features in our customer portal – such as the option to view CO2 emissions for their own deliveries (material and transport) and download personalized CO2 footprint reports. Our newly developed «Recycling Hub» was also in demand: Our suppliers can use the central data platform to record the material and quality data of their recyclates in a structured and batch-specific manner. At the same time, our customers get the transparency they need for the reliable use of recyclates.
At our exhibit, we presented our partnership with the AI start-up Polymerize. The materials informatics platform supports plastics companies in making material developments more efficient, reducing costs, and bringing more sustainable products to market faster. Polymerize and many other partners and suppliers strengthen our portfolio and enable us to respond specifically to the diverse requirements of the industry.
Hot topic at the trade fair – sustainable materials! In addition to our range of virgin materials, we presented our portfolio of recyclates and biopolymers. The Fakuma has once again confirmed that our growing product range, together with our digital solutions and consulting services, is the right combination. By being more than a global distributor, we can provide customers with needs-based support – from the selection of suitable materials to technical and logistical advice.
