What does your job as an SCM digitalization specialist involve?
My job involves a wide range of tasks related to digitalization in Supply Chain Management (SCM). My main task is to develop and maintain our track and trace solution, which allows us to track deliveries in real time. I mainly do project work with various internal and external partners.
What are the challenges in your job? What do you like about it?
The biggest challenge is that there are no clearly defined processes or instructions that I can follow for my work. A lot of it is new and I am often trying things out. But that's what I enjoy the most. I get to be creative, try new things, and get to do many different things each day. No two days are the same - that's the best part of my job.
Why do you enjoy working at Meraxis?
I have been at Meraxis for almost nine years. During this time, I was able to build up a lot of knowledge, not least because I experienced many changes both inside and outside the company. This has given me a wealth of know-how and ideas that I can apply in my current role in SCM . But what makes Meraxis special for me are my colleagues. Working in a well-functioning team with a manager who supports you and encourages ideas is fun!
