What exactly does your job entail?
As the product owner of the Customer Portal at Meraxis, I oversee the management and development of our customer portal. More concretely, this includes maintaining the customer portal, prioritizing features, managing the product backlog, as well as onboarding and training new users. Further, I collaborate closely with different teams such as sales or legal, gather and analyze user feedback, and monitor performance metrics. Lastly, I focus on identifying user needs and ensuring their successful implementation.
What are the challenges of your job? What do you like about it?
In an industry that isn’t inherently digital, one of my biggest challenges is staying ahead of evolving technologies and helping stakeholders understand the benefits of digitalization, particularly through our Customer Portal. Balancing stakeholder demands while ensuring user satisfaction can also be quite challenging.
On the other hand, working with diverse teams and learning from their expertise is incredibly rewarding. I love solving problems with innovative and digital solutions that enhance the customer experience – it truly energizes me.
